Bacaan Shalat

Prayer recitations are a series of prayers and dhikr recited by a Muslim during prayer, from the takbiratul ihram to the greeting. Each recitation has a meaning and purpose, ranging from glorifying Allah, seeking guidance, to asking for forgiveness.

In prayer, these recitations serve as a link between the worshipper and their Lord. These include the Takbiratul Ihram, which signals the beginning of prayer, and Al-Fatihah, the opening prayer that must be recited in each rak’ah, ruku’, sujud, and tasyahud, each of which has its own specific prayer. Each sentence recited is not just a series of words, but also an expression of submission and gratitude.

By understanding the meaning of prayer recitations, worship becomes more devout because we understand what we are saying. Prayer recitations also teach humility, serenity, and discipline in worship.
